The Arab Quarter presents a classical Egyptian dance workshop in London.
Enjoy choreographical excerpts from classical Egyptian songs and learn how to match the music sensitively and with authenticity. The renowned composer Chalf Hassan will sing for you, and play tabla, oud and keyboard. Egyptian dance artist, Melanie Norman will present carefully prepared material.
The atmosphere, as in all Arab Quarter workshops, will be warm and friendly, with lots of highly focussed learning.
The cost of this open level workshop is £40 per person for the whole day; discounts for group bookings.
