Hi,
We have a treat for Turkish fans :) and fans of both original and fusion dancing...
Ozgen, popular male Turkish dancer is performing at our show in Kingston Upon Thames
on sat 31st May, doing both Rom and Oriental styles. He is spectacular on stage.
Do not miss this!! £15. doors open 7pm show starts 8pm
We have two other lovely Turkish dancers, Mine and Banu, plus troupe routines plus
a unique mix of other styles of bellydance, and dances which have inspired it, including
Egyptian, Tribal (Sword, duet, troupe, firebowls!), Gothic, Burlesque, Flamenco and
Zambra Mora.
Zambra Mora is a precursor of Flamenco, danced barefoot and using shawl, finger cymbols
and finger snapping, and we have Titanya Dahlin (from USA, sister of Dondi of BDSS fame),
who has studied with rare authentic teachers for 15 years,
teaching the history, moves and a fiery Zambra Mora choreography during the day, same venue
from 10 - 4 (£35 advance, 40 on door)
Please pm me if you're interested in either. Further details also posted
