I rarely fall for a band after just one song, but after Fields were Free Download of the Week on the iTunes music store, I fell in love and quickly tracked down their EPs. Pure brilliance. Fast switches between folk, rock, metal and electro ... then all is blended together with beautiful harmonic vocals. And given my complex for loving bands which no-one has ever heard of, and my taste for bands varying inversely with the amount of media coverage they get, I should not really be promoting Fields, just in case they get more popular, and they fall out of my favour.
